Designers, Manufacturers and Installers of Childrens Playground and Exercise Equipment!
At Play & Leisure, we believe that outdoor spaces should inspire movement, imagination, and joy — for every generation.
Since 1991, our family-run business has been designing and manufacturing outdoor play areas and exercise equipment right here in the UK. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, we’ve helped schools, councils, communities, and developers bring safe, engaging, and long-lasting spaces to life.
From adventurous climbing frames to inclusive fitness equipment, every product is designed in-house by our expert team and built at our UK premises to meet the highest safety and quality standards.
We offer a complete service — from helping you design your ideal playground or outdoor gym, to supplying and installing equipment, surfacing, fencing, and offering long-term support. And because we believe in the strength of our craftsmanship, we back all our manufactured products with a 30-year guarantee against structural defects.
What truly sets us apart is the control we maintain over every step of the process. From locally sourced raw materials to the final finishing touches, every stage of production is handled in-house.
We even carry out our powder coating through our trusted sister company, Wrexham Metal Finishing, ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish that’s both durable and visually striking. Because we keep everything in the UK — and in the family — you can trust that every product bearing our name is built with care, expertise, and accountability.
No shortcuts. Just quality equipment from start to finish.
Safety, durability, and performance are at the core of everything we do. That’s why all of our products and installations comply with the following BS EN (British and European) standards:

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
